This is a crocheted piece.
I crocheted a small straw hat.
I read somewhere that Japanese people love miniatures.
Small things are really cute.
I was very interested in dollhouses and there was a time when I researched them and was amazed at the depth of the miniature world.
The scales are all standardized into several different types, so that the miniatures in your collection don't end up being all different sizes.
I knitted this hat as I pleased, without any strict standards in mind, but it got me thinking how fun it would be to knit various items to fit the scale of the dollhouse world, and my crochet miniature fantasies are expanding.
This time, I decided to knit a straw hat because I found a thin type of yarn that was just like the one used for raffia-style hats.
If you want to master miniature weaving, I think your perspective on choosing thread will change considerably.
At home, I hang this straw hat on a calendar peg. You could also attach a pin to the back and hang it on your bag like a corsage.
This is a mini straw hat that is quite large in scale, but it makes a great item to reflect the season.

| 20 | ±0 |
| 13 to 19 | +6 |
| 6 to 12 | ±0 |
| 2 to 5 | +6 |

②Once you have knitted the hat, try decorating it by tying a ribbon or making a string with a chain and tying it as you like.
If you are going to use it as a corsage, it would be best to sew the ribbon in place.

Rico's "Mini Straw Hat"
I made it a little smaller using lace thread.
I stuck it on the edge of the calendar and it made a cute accent.

"Mini straw hat" by rio
I tried knitting a mini straw hat because it's so cute. But it ended up being a little big. I added elastic to the back! I still want to knit some more.
