Free Crochet Pattern "Christmas Tree" | Knitting Patterns for Enjoying Winter

This is a crocheted piece.

A simple crocheted Christmas tree.
When the city is filled with a Christmas atmosphere, you can't help but think about winter holidays and the end of the year.
Christmas is fun not only on Christmas Eve and the day itself, but also in the preparations and the anticipation.
To get into the Christmas spirit, I decided to make a mini tree at home.
It's a simple tree with a triangular roof made of knitted knitting needles. The decorations are a bit tricky, but I just used simple embroidery.
What kind of decorations would you like to make?

Yarn and Crochet Hook Size

Medium-fine cotton thread (green, brown, a little white), medium-fine linen thread
3.0 mm (JP 5/0)
Polyester wadding

Finished Size

Diameter 8.5cm Height 12cm

Instructions

①The green leaves are made with two strands of medium-fine cotton yarn, and the tree trunk is made with two strands of brown cotton yarn and linen yarn.
Here, we will call the bottom of the three-tiered tree "large," the middle "medium," and the top "small."

② For the "large" piece only, use the same green yarn to knit the base of the pyramid. Start by knitting the bottom of the "large" piece.
Cast on the loop and crochet 6 stitches in a circular stitch (row 1).
For rows 2 to 7, increase 6 stitches each row. The number of stitches in row 7 is 42.

③Next, knit the large triangular part.
Cast on a loop and knit in a circular stitch3 pointsKnit (row 1).
For rows 2 to 14, increase 3 stitches in each row, and when you finish knitting row 14, leave the yarn uncut (you will then sew the bottom of the large piece and crochet it).
The final number of stitches for the 14th row will be 42.
Place the bottom and the triangle together and crochet the stitches. When doing this, crochet the triangle while keeping it facing you, and then stuff the filling in before closing it.

④ Knit the middle part, which will be the second row of the leaf.
As with the "large" one, cast on a loop and begin knitting with three round stitches (row 1), then increase the number of stitches by three in each row from rows 2 to 12.

⑤Knit the small top part of the leaf.
Cast on a loop and crochet in a loop3 pointsStart knitting (row 1), and then increase the number of stitches by 3 in each row from rows 2 to 10.

⑥Next, we will weave the tree trunk from the bottom up.
Cast on a loop and begin knitting 6 stitches in a circular stitch.
For the bottom rows 2 to 5, increase the number of stitches in each row, and for the 6th row, make a single stitch (scoop up only one stitch on the other side of the previous row's knit stitch).
The 7th and 8th rows are the sides of the trunk.

⑦ Sew the tree trunk to the bottom of the large tree. Be sure to add the cotton before closing it up.
Sew the three layers of leaves together to prevent them from coming off.

⑧Once the tree is complete, all that's left is to decorate it.
For this tree, I embroidered stars using one strand each of white medium-fine thread and linen thread.
