This is a crocheted piece.
Book:Crochet jewelry with lace needlesTo commemorate the publication of "Beaded Necklaces," we have created a free knitting pattern for a beaded necklace.
This piece also comes with a knitting video!
This is an easy project to knit, so even if you're unsure how to knit beads and find it difficult to get started, we encourage you to give it a try.
To make this necklace, simply repeat the same process until you reach the desired length, then loop the piece together.
The piece in the photo uses fine linen thread and small round beads.
This one has a delicate impression, but it will also look cute if you knit it with medium-weight wool yarn and large round beads.
This is a project that can be knitted using leftover yarn, so please remember this when you have leftover yarn from "Crochet Jewelry with Lace Needles."
The amount of linen thread used this time was about 9m.
This linen yarn version can be knitted using the same size 2 (1.50 mm) lace needles as in "Crochet Jewelry with Lace Needles."
If you don't have one, try using a size 3 crochet hook instead.
We hope you enjoy matching the colors of the thread and beads.
I hope these easy-to-knit projects will give you a glimpse into the world of bead knitting!

Instructions
Please refer to the crochet pattern along with these instructions.
Below this description, we have also provided a knitting video.
1. Thread the beading needle and thread 135 beads onto the thread.
The number of beads doesn't have to be exact, so make sure you thread them in enough.
In particular, if you want to finish it longer, make sure to thread it through more often.
②Start knitting 8 chain stitches.
Pick up the chain on the other side of the first stitch and the one behind it, pull them out, and make a loop with the chain.
From here, start with one chain stitch.
The looped chain is gathered into a bundle and knitted into a knit stitch, but at this point a bead is knitted into the bundle (from here on it is called "beaded knit stitch").
Repeat this process to knit a total of 5 beaded knit stitches.
This completes one bead ornament.
③ Next, knit 5 chains (the chains between the bead ornaments), then knit 8 chains (the chains that will form the base of the bead ornaments).
Pick up the chain on the other side of the first stitch of the eight stitches and the back of the chain, pull it out, and make a loop.
④ Start the chain with one stitch and crochet five beaded knit stitches.
⑤ Repeat steps ② and ③ alternately and continue weaving until you have 27 beaded ornaments.
You can adjust the length by changing the number of beaded ornaments you weave.
⑥Once you have finished knitting the last bead decoration, continue by knitting five chain stitches.
Insert the needle into the first bead decoration and pull it out, then make a loop of knitted fabric to finish.
*If the knitted fabric twists when you try to make a loop, we recommend using a steam iron first to straighten the knitted fabric before starting the slip stitch.
