This is a crocheted piece.
I tried crocheting a collar.
It's a little hard to tell from the photo, but the knitted fabric of this collar is an arrangement of a hemp leaf pattern. I knitted it loosely using a crochet hook that was a little thicker than the yarn.
When it was finished, it looked somewhat nostalgic, so we decided on the name.
Since the collar is a little large, I think it might be nice to wear it in a way that doesn't stand out, like with a white collar on white clothes or a black collar on black clothes.
This collar can be made in a short amount of time, so I wanted to try making it in different colors.

Instructions
①Please check the knitting pattern along with the instructions for how to make it.
On another page,How to knit a hemp leaf pattern」「How to knit hemp leaf pattern II" is also available, so please use it as a reference for how to knit the fabric.
② Begin by casting on the chain and knitting 136 stitches.
The number of cast-on stitches should be a multiple of 3 + 1. Please use this as a reference for adjusting the gauge. The increased stitches are distributed, so even if the number of cast-on stitches changes, it will probably still be arched.
③ Increase a stitch every two rows up to row 6. Please note that the knitting method and number of chain stitches change: rows 1 and 2 have a hemp leaf pattern based on medium double crochet, rows 3 and 4 have a double crochet base, and rows 5 and 6 have an extra double crochet base.
④Once you have knitted up to the 6th row, you will then knit the edge.
At this point, check that the final row, row 6, is on the wrong side and rows 1, 3 and 5 are on the right side. Attach the yarn where shown in the knitting pattern and knit the edge using a knit stitch.
On the inside of the collar (the side where you cast on), gather the chain into a bunch and work with a knit stitch. Also, do not crochet the edge of the very bottom part of the collar.
⑤Finally, knit the string. Attach the yarn to each of the four "string attachment points" on the knitting pattern, and after knitting 75 chain stitches, cut the yarn and finish off the string.
Adjust the number of chains on the string to get the length you want.

Rico's "Nostalgic Collar"
Knitting the hemp leaf was so much fun that I finished it in no time!
Detachable collars tend to be very cute, so I had been hesitant to knit one until now, but I thought this one would be great because it's not too sweet, so I decided to give it a try.
I made it into a button based on Ronique's arrangement.

Sato's "Nostalgic Collar"
I've always been interested in hemp leaf weaving, but I gave up because I couldn't get the shape right.
It wasn't as crisp as Ronique's, but when I knitted it for the first time, I saw a unique pattern, so I decided to be satisfied for now ♪
I would also like to try knitting some winter clothes using different yarn.
thank you very much!
