Kit sales announcement
We plan to sell a bead crochet kit that allows you to make a 2-way "glasses cord".
My eyesight has gotten worse, and I've been putting my glasses on and taking them off...it's quite inconvenient these days.
It's wonderful to know that there are items that can be enjoyed precisely because of poor eyesight.
This eyeglass cord was created with that idea in mind.
We chose soft, understated colors so that it would be easy to use even as a first eyeglass cord.
The kit includes a clasp that allows you to easily transform the glasses cord into a necklace.
Please enjoy it in your preferred style!

What is "Path | Glasses Code"?
The word "path" means a route, a path, or a trail.
This piece is like weaving a narrow, continuous path of beads.
This project uses a fast-paced bead crochet technique, completing the piece by going back and forth along a single path.
*Inventory will be replenished and available for purchase once sales begin.
About the work and kit
Light and airy, summer color variations
We have prepared two colors for this product.
For the gold-toned beads, I chose a pale pink with a hint of salmon, and for the silver-toned beads, I selected a mint blue reminiscent of Tiffany blue.
I had a really hard time deciding on a gold shade, so I chose the one that was most popular in the Instagram poll.
Both have a light and airy feel that's perfect for the summer season.
The understated colors perfectly matched the theme of this product, which is "easy to use even as a first eyeglass cord."
A subtle touch of attention to detail
One of the key features of this glasses cord is its 2-way design, which allows it to be worn as a necklace as well, as mentioned at the beginning.
And another feature is the meticulously crafted fastening parts.
The silicone parts are combined with small natural stones.
I wanted to give it a somewhat jewelry-like feel, so I added small "gems" in positions where they would feel close to you when you wear it.
The image below shows a prototype using larger natural stone parts, but the natural stone parts used in the actual piece will be smaller, resulting in a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing piece.

The knitting method is simple and rhythmic.
This piece uses a lace needle and thin metallic thread.
The knitting technique itself is simple, involving the repetition of two different stitches.
Once you've threaded the beads, you can then move your hands smoothly and efficiently.
While this project is rated as advanced due to the use of fine yarn, anyone familiar with basic crochet techniques should be able to follow along by watching the video.

For details on stitches and movement, please refer to the video tutorial.
This project includes a video tutorial that explains each step of the knitting process.
The video tutorial uses thick yarn, so you can zoom in and check details such as where to insert the needle and the direction of the stitches.
The process of knitting with yarn of the same thickness as the yarn used for the final product is shown in the accompanying photo guide.
We also share tips for achieving a beautiful finish, so please make use of them.
