Wami's "PAGE 6 (oval bottom)"

I knitted the oval bottom using side pattern 89, then changed the shoulder and flap parts to side pattern 89 from Ronique's paid recipe "Winter Yarn Shoulder."

At first, I thought about using a magnetic fastener to fasten the flap to the bag body, but it didn't feel quite right, so I made a button loop out of thread cord and attached a button instead. It's easy to use and I like it.

I've come to love crocheting after learning to knit a variety of things using Ronique's beginner's knitting course, which starts with knitting symbol diagrams and free standard accessories.

Wami's "PAGE67 (shoulder bag)"

I knitted the bottom with base A and the sides with pattern 84, then added the shoulder pieces from Ronique's paid recipe "Winter Yarn Shoulder."
We used recycled fiber (bamboo tape) that makes use of bamboo fibers, and made the bottom two-ply to make it stronger.
I like the large, flat shoulder straps that don't hurt my shoulders. I was worried about the bag stretching out due to the weight of my belongings, so I had to shorten it three times.
I wanted to try knitting a round-bottom basket bag!
