This is a crocheted piece.
I crocheted a top hat that I think boys would find easy to use.
I thought the black, pointy tricorn hats for Halloween were cute, so I asked my brother if I could make one for him, but he said, "But those are for girls."
It certainly does evoke the image of a witch's hat.
A boy's version would be a top hat.
The image just keeps expanding - wearing something like this and attending a Halloween event or going to a parade.
The hat size is perfect for my brother who has a small head.
However, when the older brother tried on the finished hat, he didn't have any particular reaction. It didn't seem to affect his appearance. And when the younger brother put it on, it looked heavy!
It's a little stretchy, so it's probably a size suitable for 2-3 year olds.
Please check the size and adjust accordingly.

Instructions
① Start knitting from the top of the hat. Cast on a loop and knit 6 quarter stitches in the first row.
For rows 2 to 17, increase 6 stitches in each row.
When knitting the circles, try to make the circles as smooth as possible and make it easier to count.Knitting pattern (circle)I knitted it following the following rules.
②Continue braiding the sides.
The 18th row is the stitch of the previous row.The one on the other sideScoop it up and knit it.
Knit up to row 41, reducing the number of stitches as shown in the table below.
③For the 42nd row of the brim, unlike the 18th row,The one in the frontJust scoop up the strands and knit them.
For rows 42 to 48, increase the number of stitches in each row, and then cut the yarn after you have knitted row 49 without increasing or decreasing the number of stitches.
