This is a crocheted piece.
I combined two crocheted motifs to knit a tissue case that can be hung or placed.
We make full use of tissue paper in our home, with one in the kitchen, one in the living room, and one in each of the children's rooms, but if we could find a cover that was easy to knit, the tissue box would quickly become a beloved item.
It's very easy to make and can be done using basic crochet techniques.
Furthermore, if you knit quickly with thick yarn, you can finish it in a short amount of time!
This work is,sawada itto sawada ittoThe yarn provided by "candy" I knitted it.
This is a new yarn from Sawada Itto that is thick, easy to knit, and has a cute texture.
Be sure to follow the link and check it out!

Since it is a simple piece, expressive fancy yarn was the perfect match.
It comes in six different colors, so it would be fun to knit it in different colors.
For this piece, we chose the color "Green Apple"!
The color looks cute even in a girl's room.
Depending on where you store and use your tissue case, you may be concerned about it getting dirty, but one nice thing about it is that stains are less noticeable with threads that have a mixed color than with solid colors.
Why not try crocheting some useful interior items?
It's a nice sized piece that can be completed in a short amount of time, so it makes a great gift.

Instructions
Please refer to the crochet pattern along with these instructions.
In this piece, you will knit two motifs: a "front part" and a "back part."
①Start knitting from the front part.
Cast on 42 stitches to form a chain, then pull it through to the first stitch to make a loop.
For the first row of double crochets, pick up one strand on the other side of the chain and the back of the knot.
When knitting the double crochet at either end (the stitch with the dotted arrow in the knitting pattern), insert your needle into both the chain where you will knit the double crochet and the opposite chain where the arrow is pointing, picking them up at the same time, and knit the double crochet.
At the end of the row, insert the needle into the third stitch of the starting chain and knit a double crochet (like the second chain stitch).
From there, start up with 3 chain stitches, and for the next double crochet, scoop up the middle double crochet stitches into a bundle.
From the second row onwards, the chain from the previous row and the double crochet stitch at the end of the row are both knitted together in a bundle.
Continue knitting, increasing stitches at the four corners of each row, and cut the yarn when you finish knitting the sixth row.

②Next, knit the back part.
Cast on 20 chain stitches.
For the first half of the first row, pick up the strand on the other side of the cast-on chain and the back crochet, and for the second half, pick up the remaining strand that you didn't pick up in the first half and crochet.
From the second row onwards, knit up to the sixth row in the same way as the previous part.
After you finish knitting the sixth row, leave the yarn in place.
③ Attach the yarn from the position shown on page 3 of the knitting pattern and stitch the edge.
At this time, if you pass the thread that you left in step ② and attach the thread, you can reduce the amount of thread processing and save energy.
Place the motif on the outside and knit the edge while looking at the front motif.
The long side of the motif is sewn by picking up the stitches of the two overlapping motifs at once.
One of the short sides of the motif is closed, but the other side is left open as it will be used as a bag opening for putting tissue boxes in and out.
For the sake of explanation, the opening of the bag will be referred to as the "top" of the short side, and the other as the "bottom" of the short side.
The bottom of the short side is sewn together by picking up the stitches of both motifs at once and crocheting a double crochet.
Knit the top of the short side in a circle to form a bag shape. When knitting each stitch on both ends, pick up the two corner chains at the same time to join them, otherwise pick up one stitch of the motif and knit a double crochet.
④ Make the string by weaving the thread cord.
Knit 63 stitches of thread cord.
「How to knit thread cordPlease refer to the explanation on the " page.
Once you have knitted the thread cord, pass it through the gaps between the double stitches as shown in the knitting pattern, and join the ends together to make a loop.
