This is a crocheted piece.
I made a simple triangular stole using crochet.
I don't actually use it much, but I always find myself wanting to make triangular shawls.
The varied shapes are really interesting.
The knitting method and pattern itself simply involves increasing stitches repeatedly in the same pattern every row (to be precise, every two rows, as there are two rows in one pattern), but as the knitted fabric spreads out into a triangle and gets bigger, I felt a sense of accomplishment from its growth, and I felt excited as I continued knitting until it was finished.
Both rectangular and triangular shapes of shawls are beautiful.
Depending on the shape of the item you want to knit and use, it will naturally be decided whether to make it rectangular or triangular, but from a knitting perspective, it may be for this reason that it feels like a triangular stole is quicker to finish.
This piece was knitted using medium weight ramie yarn.
You can knit it roughly with thick yarn, or lightly with medium-thin yarn.
It will also have a cute texture if knitted with winter yarns such as wool or mohair.
To knit, simply start knitting from the tip of the triangle and continue knitting until you reach the right size, so it's easy to adjust to your desired size.
This is a work that is perfect to pick up in your spare time and work through little by little, so please give it a try.

Instructions
Please refer to the knitting pattern along with the instructions for how to make it.
① Start knitting by making a chain stitch with one chain stitch.
As shown in the knitting pattern, increase stitches on both ends of each row as you knit. I knitted up to row 43.
The number of rows does not affect the edge, so just work until you reach the desired size, making sure to finish with an odd number of rows.
② To make the edge, turn the even rows to the right and work one round using a round stitch. Increasing stitches at the corners in three places along the way.
Once you have completed one round of knitting, pull the yarn through the first stitch of the edge and cut it.

Your work

Mio's "triangular stole"
I knitted it lovely using white mohair.
The knitting pattern and instructions were easy to understand, and I was able to knit it quickly.
Thank you so much for always introducing such wonderful knitting patterns.

Marotan's "triangle stole"
It was so much fun watching it grow from just one chain stitch, so I wanted to make it bigger and crocheted 59 rows. At its largest, it's 140 x 56cm.
Gosho Sangyo's "Silk in Marble" - just under 9 beads, size 5 needle.
I'm looking forward to going out. Thank you as always for your simple yet cute recipes that are easy to understand even for a beginner like me.
