This is a crocheted piece.
This crocheted mesh bag has a cool, sheer grid weave.
Grid knitting is one of the most common crochet patterns that is easy for beginners to knit.
Both the one-chain grid stitch and the two-chain grid stitch are convenient and frequently used knitting techniques, but this time I chose the two-chain grid stitch because I wanted to create a square grid.
I used cotton yarn which doesn't split easily, so my hands moved easily and I was reminded anew of how fun grid knitting is.
The key feature of this bag is that it has a square bottom and a gusset.
The bottom is knitted round and round without any rise.
If you like to adjust the position of the handle yourself, you can also adjust the size of the base to suit your preferences.
The gusset means that it can hold a lot of things, and it seems like it will keep its shape despite being a mesh bag.
The contents are a little see-through, so I imagine I'd like to put some yarn inside and use it as a project bag.
Please find a color that suits your mood and try knitting it!

Instructions
Please refer to the crochet pattern along with these instructions.
①Cast on a chain of 10 stitches and start knitting from the bottom of the bag.
For the first half of the double crochet, you will pick up one strand on the other side of the chain and the back of the crochet, and for the second half, you will pick up the strand that you did not pick up in the first half.
In the knitting pattern on page 1, the area shaded in gray will be the bottom of the bag.
The bottom is knitted counterclockwise in a circular motion without any raised edges.
At the corner, where you insert the needle into the chain of the previous row to increase a stitch, pick up one stitch on the other side of the chain and the back of the chain and crochet a double crochet.
Continue knitting as shown in the pattern until the bottom squares are 11 vertically and 14 horizontally.
②Once you have finished knitting the bottom, continue knitting the sides without increasing or decreasing the number of stitches.
In the knitting pattern, the row numbers are indicated from the first row on the side.
Knit the sides up to row 19.
If you want to adjust the depth of the bag, try changing the number of rows you knit here.
③Next, in the 20th row, crochet the edge once around the edge by alternating between 2 knit stitches and 1 chain stitch.
④In the 21st row, knit the edge using a slip stitch, and knit the chain for the handle in the middle.
For the slip stitch in rows 21 to 23, pick up only one stitch on the other side of the stitch from the previous row (and also pick up only one chain on the other side of the previous row).
For the 22nd row, pick up the 20 stitches in the center of the chain that holds the handle from the previous row and work a single stitch on the other side of the chain.
In the 23rd row, pick up one stitch on the other side of the previous row's single stitch for the 20 stitches in the center of the handle and work a double stitch.
Cut the yarn after you finish knitting the 23rd row.
