I tried to make it a simple shape that is neither too big nor too small.
It can hold everyday items such as a wallet, cell phone, digital camera, handkerchief, and tissues.
The knitted fabric does not stretch much, so if you use strong yarn, it will be fine even if the contents are a little heavy.
Since you can use it without worrying about it losing its shape, it's quite useful in our home.
I use it with a leather tag as an accent.

① Start knitting from the bottom of the bag by casting on a loop. Increasing stitches with each row, knit in a circular motion.
Increase 6 stitches each row up to the 18th row. The 18th row will have 108 stitches in one round.

② Once you have finished knitting the bottom up to the 18th row, continue knitting the pattern on the side.
For the pattern, knit up to 28 rows without increasing or decreasing the number of stitches.

To make the handle, chain 3 stitches and work back and forth in a knit crochet until you reach row 40. Continuing with that yarn, work a border around the entire piece using a knit crochet.
