This is a record of the activities I did when I taught a crochet class at Vogue Gakuen Sapporo School.

2016.04.07 "Semi-original Bag Making Course" 1st session

This was the first lecture at Vogue Gakuen Sapporo School.
I was so nervous that I think it was very awkward...I'm sorry.
Thanks to everyone who was so kind, it quickly became a fun time, thank you so much!

Today, I have brought along a variety of samples of bags and pouches, as well as books that feature them, for your reference.
First, let's knit a semi-original pouch♪ In the second half, we thought about the design and knitting pattern for the pouch and got to work.

Next time we will continue with the pouch.

2016.04.28 "Semi-original Bag Making Course" 2nd session

Today was the second "Semi-original Bag Making Class."
She continued knitting the pouch she started last time.
I knit while checking the size so that I can achieve the way I want to use it.
Pattern knitting also becomes easier once you get used to it.

We had a fun time chatting in a friendly atmosphere about knitting and everyday life.

2016.06.02 "Semi-original Bag Making Course" 4th session

The last time, the third time, we were unable to take any photos, but we were able to continue knitting the pouch in a relaxed atmosphere.
Today, on the fourth occasion, the two of them showed us the finished pouches, and we were so thrilled it felt like it was our own!
We hope you will enjoy making bags by expanding your imagination.
The next session will be on Thursday, June 16th. We look forward to your continued support.

2016.06.25-26 "Sapporo Mono Village" in Sapporo Dome

Sapporo Mono Village, which was held over two days yesterday and today, has now come to an end.
The first photo is the layout on the first day, and the second photo is the layout on the second day.
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by Ronique's booth among so many others!

Some of the people who come after seeing us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook page are people I've never met before, so it's always a refreshing and exciting experience to meet them in person.
And thank you to Vogue Gakuen Sapporo School, the organizers, and everyone who helped us out.

I'd also like to thank my friends who came to see me and brought me gifts. Thank you!
A friend who was in her last month of pregnancy came with her child, pushing a stroller...I really wanted to be by her side and hold the baby's hand until her husband arrived when the baby was born!!

It rained heavily on the first day, which must have been very difficult for the guests who came to the venue.
Despite all that, Sapporo Dome was packed with customers on both days and the event was a huge success.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the other booths, but it seemed like the atmosphere was different from previous events.
There are many handmade-related events, and I found it interesting that each event has its own unique characteristics.

Well, this was the first time my mother's hand-knitted doll was shown off.
Thank you to everyone who took a look!
In particular, knitters of my mother's generation seemed to be very interested.
Many people saw the dolls and exclaimed, "How handsome!", and one even had a handsome twin son-in-law (lol).
And there was a one-piece dress girl who had some gentle, cute eyes painted on her and then got married.
There was always a crowd in front of the hand-knitted dolls.

At the mini-mini knitting basket workshop, everyone's choices and color combinations were so fresh that even I had a lot of fun watching!
Later, I regretted not taking pictures of everything!

Among them, we would like to introduce one precious photo that we were able to take ♪ What a beautiful color choice!

We will be taking a break from participating in events for a while, and the next one will probably be in the depths of autumn.

It makes me happy to imagine that the Lithuanian linen yarn that so many people picked up at this event will be used in knitting and weaving this summer.
During this event, we were able to see how the linen thread purchased at the recent "Handicraft Market" had been transformed into these wonderful pieces!

Many customers mentioned "weaving," and I was curious to see what the finished product would look like, so I was thrilled to be able to see the actual woven pieces!
We've received positive feedback that it's very durable even when used for weaving, and we're even happier that people can enjoy it for things other than knitting.

2016.09.08 Vogue Gakuen "Brooch Fair" & 1-day lesson

Thank you to everyone who came to the brooch fair at Vogue Gakuen Sapporo!
I was also captivated by the works of the exhibiting teachers at the booth.

On the subject of brooches, I will be holding a one-day lesson on beaded brooches on Thursday, September 8th.

2016.09.01 "Semi-original Bag Making Course" 9th session

Today was the 9th session of the semi-original bag making course.
Time flies and there's only one more session left.
Your bags are just one step away from completion.

Today we were also able to see the finished product of a lovely bag!
She was knitting a landscape version of the vertical A4 bag that I had knitted as a sample piece.
The horizontal type also seems very easy to use.

And thank you for the cute and delicious sweets as souvenirs!
It looked like a brooch and I almost felt bad eating it.
Thank you for another fun time today.

2016.09.08 Vogue Gakuen "Beaded Brooch" 1-day lesson

Today I gave a one-day lesson on "bead brooches" at Vogue Gakuen Sapporo School.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
We had them bead knit using Lithuanian wool yarn, perfect for the upcoming season.

Of all the crochet techniques, the knit stitch is the most commonly seen.
It's basic and may seem easy at first glance, but the loop stitch is actually the most difficult of the knit stitches!
That's what I think.
However, even if you try to learn it on your own, it can be surprisingly difficult to understand (speaking from experience).
So, if you have even the slightest interest in knitting, I would be happy if you would ask me about it.
This beaded brooch also uses the loop stitch technique.

If you would like to knit it again at home, in addition to the explanatory materials we have provided you with, there is also a page on our website explaining the knit stitch (which includes a video of the loop stitch and plenty of still images), so please feel free to use it as a reference.

Now, the currently running "Semi-Original Bag Making Course" will end its first term this month.
The bag she is knitting after the pouch is also nearing completion, and next time we'll be making tassels and bag charms! That's what we're planning to do ♪
