This is a crocheted piece.
For the first time, I tried making a crocheted triangular cake.
The color is subdued, but how about a simple type like this once in a while?
I think there are many variations of triangular cakes that can be created by changing the color and decorations.
If you make several and arrange them in a circle like a whole cake, they can also be used as pretend play food.
Try making your own original cake using fruit patterns from other cake recipes as inspiration.

Instructions
①Please also check the knitting pattern for how to knit the cake body.
Start knitting from the triangular part of the cake.
Start knitting by casting on a chain, and in the first row, scoop up one strand of the chain on the other side of the cast-on and the back of the knot and knit in a circular stitch.
Knit back and forth, increasing every other row. Once you have knitted up to row 15, continue with the same yarn and knit a single stitch around the triangle.
You will need to knit two identical pieces of this triangular part (one for the top of the cake and one for the bottom).
For the bottom piece, cut the yarn once you have finished knitting around the triangle.
② After you have finished knitting the triangular part that will make up the surface of the cake once around the part, continue knitting the sides.
For each row on the sides, scoop one stitch to the other side of the previous row and work a double stitch.
The sides are knitted in a different color every row, so please check the color scheme in the table below.
| Number of steps | color |
| Cake bottom | beige |
| Side 6 | beige |
| Side 5 | Beige |
| Side 4 | beige |
| Side 3 | Beige |
| Side 2 | beige |
| Side 1 | Beige |
| Cake surface | Beige |
③ Once all the sides are knitted, align them with the triangular parts on the bottom and sew them together. Before closing it all up, stuff the cake with cotton.
④The fresh cream used for decoration isCream pattern for mille crepesPlease check.
Start by casting on a loop, then crochet 11 double crochets in the first row. In the second row, crochet 1 double crochet and 1 double crochet pull-up stitch in the previous row to increase the number of stitches (+11).

⑥Once all the decorative parts are knitted, sew them to the main body of the mille crepe while checking the balance.
