This is a crocheted piece.

This is a drawstring bag made from a single crocheted motif.

I arranged this motif into a rectangle to create a drawstring bag that is easy to make.

Instructions

①Start knitting from the center of the motif.
Cast on 13 chain stitches, and when you crochet 3 double crochets in the first row, in the first half, pick up one stitch on the other side of the cast-on chain and the back crochet, and in the second half, pick up the remaining stitch that you didn't scoop up earlier and crochet.

At the end of the row, the double crochet is treated as the second chain stitch, so insert the needle into the third stitch of the starting chain and crochet.

When crocheting three double crochets in the second row or later, insert the needle under the joint (space) of the three double crochets in the previous row and crochet as if scooping the stitch into a bundle (insert the needle in the same place and crochet three stitches).
Increase stitches at the four corners of each row until you reach the fifth row, then cut off the black thread.

②Knit the 6th row with light gray yarn.
Here, cut the yarn after knitting the sixth row.

③ Rows 7 to 9 are knitted with black and white mottled yarn.
　　
④Continue knitting the edge of the motif and the drawstring hole for the drawstring using the black and white mottled yarn, then leave the yarn attached without cutting it.

⑤ Pull out the sides of the drawstring bag and sew them off (there are notes in the knitting pattern, so please check those as well).
Continue knitting one side with the main yarn.

Fold the knitted fabric with the right sides facing out (so that the knit stitches are visible) along the dotted line in the center of the motif, shown in the knitting pattern, and pick up the overlapping knit stitches at once, going through two pieces of fabric, and pull them out.
Skip the center stitch at the bottom and pull it off.
Attach a thread to the other side and pull it off.

⑥Next, knit the drawstring.
Knit 100 chain stitches to make a drawstring.
At this point, leave about 15cm of yarn at the beginning and end of the knitting.
Please knit two identical strands.

⑦Thread the string through the threading position shown in the knitting pattern and attach a tassel to the end of the string.
