Free Crochet Pattern "Retro Pouch" | A knitting pattern to enjoy in any season

This is a crocheted piece.

This pouch is made by crocheting a pattern and using the back side of the knitted fabric as the front.
Am I the only one who feels like knitting a pouch when I find cute or beautiful yarn?
Pouches are easy to slip into your bag and take with you wherever you go, so you grow attached to them.

These are small, cute bag-like items, so before you know it, you'll have a lot of pouches, but knowing that you can always carry your favorite yarn with you makes knitting and using them fun.

I used Flax K yarn and crocheted this with a size 5 crochet hook.
Except for the middle double crochet section at the bottom, the number of stitches is kept the same.

To make the pouch opening, all you have to do is pick up all the stitches in the pattern and add a row of knit stitch, so you can knit it up to the height you like...but since the starting position will gradually shift to the right, it's probably safer to keep the height lower.
This time it is fastened with buttons, but it would also be easier to use if there was a zipper at the opening of the pouch.

It's up to you which side of the knitted fabric you use,
If you use the back side, you can knit the crimped stitches at the opening of the pouch while looking at the back side of the knitted fabric (so that only the crimped stitches are visible on the front side).

Also, this is just a test knitting, but I tried knitting back and forth while turning the knitted fabric inside out after each row to see if I could avoid the diagonal start, and I ended up with a pattern like the one in the image below.
The atmosphere will be a little different, but please try it according to your preference.

Pretty60's "Retro Pouch"

I wanted to knit something small for Haru Natsu, so I remembered a recipe I had in mind a while ago and knitted it.

Yumitarou's "Retro Pouch"

The shading of the stitches creates a beautiful atmosphere and I had a lot of fun knitting it all the way to the end.
I used antique buttons to match the design, but adding cute, round glass beads would also look great.
I'm going to try knitting a few different yarns in different colors and sizes.
