This is a slightly tipsy report about finally tasting the chocolate I've always wanted to try.
As a chocolate lover, I couldn't pass up this "Niagara Chocolat Blanc Frais," and since I'd known about it for quite some time, my expectations were very high.
I don't often buy and eat grapes for myself, but I'm always curious about sweets that have grapes in their name, and when I hear something like Niagara soft serve ice cream, I can't help but succumb to the temptation.
This one is quite similar; it's Niagara Falls, and it's chocolate!
I'm also drawn to the sophisticated packaging.
I asked my family to buy it for me at New Chitose Airport, but one thing I didn't know was that this "Niagara" refers to Niagara wine, not just grapes.
Since no one in my family drinks alcohol, and we generally live a life far removed from it, it's been quite a while since I've had chocolate with alcohol in it.
When I took a sip, the flavor of Niagara grapes and the taste of wine filled my mouth.
I ended up trying two of them on impulse, and the lingering aftertaste was incredible!
I feel like I might get a little tipsy! That might be because I have a low tolerance for alcohol, haha.
I was curious to hear what people who enjoy alcohol would think about it, so I asked for their opinions.
The chocolate looked so cute, resembling Niagara Falls, and it was a very stylish creation.
Today, I'm continuing to knit the mittens that I've had so much trouble with, having to unravel and knit them over and over again.
The first time I knitted with worsted weight yarn it was too thick, so I bought thinner yarn and tried again.
I bought Puppy British Fine yarn again. It's my favorite yarn.
This level of thinness gives it a delicate feel, and the knit isn't too thick, so I think it would be easy to use as a mitten.
Even after re-knitting with British Fine yarn, I continued knitting and unraveling, and it took several days to complete the left hand before I could finally start on the right hand.
With the lingering taste of Niagara wine still in my mind, once I finish writing this, I plan to continue knitting, aiming to complete the right hand!
I'll keep knitting so that I can create patterns for different sizes as well.
