A small crocheted pouch for lip balm.
This is a crochet case (pouch) for lip balm that can be made quickly using leftover yarn.
A lip balm you'll want to carry with you during the autumn and winter seasons.
Many people may find their lips becoming dry and chapped due to the dry north wind or the warm air inside their homes.
In times like these, why not try knitting a cute item that you can complete quickly in your spare time?
Putting lip balm in a dedicated case can be quite enjoyable.
Using a fine, medium-weight yarn will create a delicate pattern, and the finished product will be thin and comfortable to wear.
Besides lip balm, it seems like you could also use it to store things like stamps or USB memory sticks.
The height of the case can be easily adjusted, so try knitting it to fit the items you want to put inside.

Detailed instructions and steps for making a "lip case"
The white piece in the photo was crocheted with a size 5 crochet hook, and the golden brown piece was crocheted with a size 4 crochet hook.
① Cast on a loop and knit the bottom using a knit stitch (Bottom knitting patternreference).
The knitting on the sides will be slightly narrower than in knit stitch, so we recommend knitting the bottom looser than the diameter of the item you want to put inside.
②Continue from the bottom and knit the pattern on the side (Side knitting pattern(See reference), and continue knitting until you reach the height that matches the item you want to put inside.
In both of the pieces pictured, the pattern has been knitted up to the 20th row.
③Once the sides are knitted, knit the loop to attach to the button.
Knit a chain until you reach the position where you want to attach the button and the length that suits the size of the button. Make a loop from the chain and knit a slip stitch at the base to complete the case.
Both of the loops in the photo are made by knitting 20 chain stitches into a circle.
④Once the case is complete, attach your favorite buttons.
