Free Crochet Pattern: Amigurumi Berry Tart | All-Season

This is a crocheted piece.

I tried making a palm-sized tart using crochet.
Here, the cream in the tart cup is chocolate colored.
I had a hard time deciding on a topping, but it seems that strawberries are often used in tarts.
After all, strawberries are an essential part of sweets.

So, this time I'm using strawberries again, but I changed the shape a bit, making it look like they've been cut in half lengthwise.
You could also top it with whole strawberries, like the small cake box on another page.

Yarn and Crochet Hook Size

Medium-weight cotton thread (beige, dark brown)
Medium-fine cotton thread (red, navy, white)
Size 3/5 crochet hooks (size 3 for medium-thin stitches and size 5 for medium-thick stitches)
Sewing thread and needles for sewing parts together
Polyester wadding

Instructions

① Knit a tart cup using medium-weight beige yarn.
Start by casting on a loop, then crochet 6 stitches in the first row.
Knit the bottom of the cup, increasing stitches in each row as shown in the chart below, up to the 7th row.
Rows 8 to 11 are the sides.
In the 8th row, pick up one stitch on the other side of the knit stitch from the previous row and make a double stitch.
In the final row, row 11, knit a back knit stitch.

② Knit the chocolate cream to be placed in the tart cup using dark brown medium weight yarn.
Here too, start by casting on a loop and increasing the number of stitches in each row up to the 7th row.
For the chocolate cream, use the wrong side of the knitted knit fabric as the front (this gives it a neater shape).
Pour chocolate cream into the tart cup made in step ① and sew it up.
Before sealing it, fill the hollow part of the cream with cotton.

I knitted 8 strawberries and 5 blueberries. Try decorating a tart with them and knit as many as you need.

Start by casting on the loop, then crochet 7 double crochets in the first row. In the second row, crochet 1 double crochet and 1 double crochet upright in the double crochet from the previous row, then increase the number of stitches (+7 stitches).
I had a hard time getting the size just right, so I ended up settling on this knitting method as a last resort. It may be a little difficult to knit, so please bear with me.

⑤ Sew the strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream onto the base tart (tart cup + chocolate cream) and it's complete.
