This is a crocheted piece.
In crochet, there is a method of increasing stitches called distributed increase.
A common knitting technique is to increase the number of scattered stitches when knitting a circle using the knit stitch technique.
With knitting knitting, the logic is easy to understand and it works smoothly.
However, knitting a flat circle using a pattern can be quite difficult, and depending on the pattern, I'm not sure if I can do it.
However, I wanted to somehow knit the same pattern from the bottom to the sides, so I put a lot of thought into it and knitted this drawstring bag.
It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and has a plump, round shape.
It's just the right size to hold a small snack.
It's great for yourself, or as a small gift.

Instructions
①Please check the knitting pattern linked above for knitting instructions.
At the beginning of knitting, cast on a loop and knit 6 quarter stitches.
②For the second row, insert the needle into the first knit stitch of the previous row and knit "1 knit stitch, 2 chains, 1 knit stitch".
③For the third row, once you have started with one chain stitch, skip the first small stitch in the previous row, group two chain stitches together, and crochet 1 small stitch, 2 chains, 1 small stitch. Then, insert the needle into the small stitch next to the second chain in the previous row, and crochet 1 small stitch.
④For the fourth row, once you have started with one chain stitch, similarly skip the first small stitch in the previous row, gather two chain stitches together and knit ``small stitch 1, chain 2, small stitch 1'', then put the needle into the third small stitch in the previous row and knit ``small stitch 1, chain 2, small stitch 1''.
⑤Continue looking at the knitting pattern symbols in the same way from the 5th row onwards.
Knit rows 7 to 23 without increasing or decreasing the number of stitches.
⑥In the 24th row, knit three chain stitches every three patterns, and use these chain loops as threading points.
⑦ Once you have finished knitting the drawstring, knit the drawstring. Knit two chains of 70 stitches for the string. Thread the string through the stringing loop you made in ⑥ and it's done.
You can also decorate it with tags, patches, etc. as you like.

Usako's "Marukoro-chan Drawstring Bag"
My husband and I enjoy going out to drink, and for Valentine's Day this year we're thinking of giving him a Marukoro-chan with a sake cup (which we'll be buying soon) inside, as shown in the photo.
I also knitted some for myself in different colors.
This year, I'd like to go out drinking with my husband, carrying my own sake cup that I put in a Marukoro-chan.
Thank you so much for the wonderful knitting pattern.
I would like to try other projects in the future!

It's a medium-thin beige with a little glitter. I couldn't wear the lace in the center properly...
But since it's for myself... I can carry it around with my shopping bag in it, or just hang it in my room and it's cute.
