Recently, I was delighted to receive Rokkatei's "Tokachi Diary" assortment set in my home.
It's the green paper box that I've been familiar with for a long time, but no matter how many times I see it, I still think, "Wow!" and it really shows that it's Rokkatei after all.

When something like this arrives at our house, we have a draft meeting to decide who gets what.
When there's something delicious at stake, it's also a moment when rock-paper-scissors becomes serious.

You may want to start thinking about who you will nominate if you win when the Tokachi Nisshi arrives.
For me, the top choices would be the classic of classics, the "Marsei Butter Sandwich," and the deliciously sour and classic "Strawberry Chocolate."

If you get a large assortment, even if you are a family of five, you can try flavors you have never tried before and make some fun discoveries.

The product that shocked me the most about Rokkatei was "Daiheigen," which has a rather plain packaging and looks like a very ordinary snack, but the taste is completely different.
Before eating it, I thought, "Madeleines are just another ordinary treat that reminds me of baking as a child."

When I saw that it came in a different package called "Menkoi Daiheigen," I had a vague feeling that there might be something special about it, and when I tried it, it was indeed delicious!
It's rich and one bite is enough to leave you feeling satisfied.
It's hard to explain, but it's not at all dry, and your tongue can tell that it's definitely made with luxurious ingredients.
It's full of butter and I love the saltiness.

This time, I was just hungry enough to snack on some strawberry chocolate, so Daihirahara wasn't my top pick, but I think it would be good when you're tired.

I was so engrossed in Rokkatei that I almost forgot about knitting, but recently I've been knitting all sorts of things, and even working on larger pieces whenever I feel like it.
Wool yarn doesn't tire your hands as much as harder yarn, so it's great for long periods of knitting.

She bought a lot of wool yarn this fall, but she hasn't decided what to do with some of it yet, and even though she has some knitting left over, she's still trying to think about what to knit next...

Wool yarn has a wide variety of textures, so there are some pieces where you want to highlight the feel of the yarn, and other pieces where you want to highlight the design, and the moment you come up with a piece that matches those two aspects, it's exciting.

As the weather gets colder, I feel like knitting some winter gear.
Since it's cold and we spend more time at home, interior items are also good.

Knitting and creating knitting patterns are all about sitting still. And then there are sweets.
Is there anything you can knit that makes you want to exercise?
