Crochet & Sweets: A Taste of Hokkaido, Vol.8 "Butter cheese sand Petit"

A sweet I discovered fairly recently is the "Butter Cheese Sandwich Petit" from Ferme La Terre Biei.
There is also a wonderful restaurant in Biei called Ferme La Terre.

This cake is made with two types of cheese, Hokkaido cream cheese and mascarpone, and an original blend of 100% Hokkaido flour.
As expected, carefully selected ingredients lead to delicious food.

And it comes in a package of 5, perfect for a family of five.
But as soon as I finished one, I wanted another one... and I had to hold back my desire to eat it.
It has a nice cheese flavor, but it doesn't leave you feeling heavy, which is nice.

I like sweets that are not too sweet, but there is surprisingly little information available to tell me whether they are or not.
There are many things you can't know until you try it.
When I tried it, I was like, "Wow!", it had just the right sweetness.

I couldn't find the same product available online, but it seems that the same sweets from Ferme La Terre Biei can also be purchased through hometown tax donations, so I've attached a link below.

The item in the picture is a blanket being knitted using extra thick yarn.
I would like to verify whether the knitted fabric will remain stable even if I knit it in large increments.

It's also thick, so if you knit it with extra-thick yarn that's thicker than a sweater, it will be enough fabric to make a blanket.
I also folded it and did some mobile knitting, so the knitting has a bit of a quirk to it, haha.

Once you start knitting, you'll find that you'll be repeating the same knitting pattern every row, so this is a piece that would be suitable for knitting in your spare time or for doing other things at the same time (which I'm not very good at).

We are proceeding patiently, hoping that things will go well.

When I want to try knitting something simple, like this blanket, I just have to aimlessly look for something extra thick, so it's nice to have a nearby craft store.

It's fun to discover yarns you've never seen before and get lost in thought.
I can't help but get excited when I find some really nice colored yarn in the reasonably priced carts.
I hope that the handmade industry will become more popular and that both the internet and physical stores will prosper together.

I feel like I'd get bored of knitting with just one color, so I'm thinking about other colors too...I can't decide, but there are some pretty colors that would make good accent colors, so it looks like a fun yarn if it suits my needs.
